Spa Etiquette

Main St. Massage & Spa is a private Skin Care, Waxing, and Massage Therapy Clinic and during busy times space is limited. In order to provide you and other others with excellent customer service and access to appointments during peak times I have a firm 24 hour Cancellation Policy.

Kindly review our cancellation information below before scheduling an appointment. By booking with Main St. Massage & Spa you are accepting the terms and conditions of my cancellation policy. Please understand that Main st. Massage & Spa is a small business and last minute cancellations and no shows cause our business to suffer. Effective April 1st, 2015 there will be a strict 24 hour cancellation policy.  I really appreciate your business and hope you have a positive experience with me. Arriving

Please arrive 15 minutes early for your treatment. This will give you plenty of time to check in, use the restroom, fill out any necessary forms. Arriving late will rob you of precious treatment minutes as each session will be finished exactly on time as a courtesy to the next client.

I am sympathetic that sometimes being late is outside of your control. I promise to do my very best to perform the most complete treatment possible in the time remaining. Each treatment will be finished on time to accomodate the next client. Arriving to late to perform the scheduled service will result in full charges (equivalent deductions from gift certificates) without the opportunity to reschedule. To ensure that my spa runs on time, I regretfully cannot make an exception to this policy. For this reason I recommend that you plan ahead for your relaxing visit to my spa. I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have about my location, parking, and etc.

 

 

Appointment Bookings Online

My convenient online reservation system allows you to book appointments instantly 24/7. You are required to set up a one time member account with Vagaro.  This will let you login into your account at anytime to book future appointments or if needed to cancel and reschedule before the 24 hour deadline. Please note, beginning  April 1st, 2015 a credit card will be required to book all appointments. Please leave me a message in the note section if you are using a Gift Certificate for your treatment or any other details.

 

Cancellations by Phone

I value your business and appreciate your cooperation with my cancellation policy. If you need to cancel your appointment please call 316-390-7722 at least 24 hours in advance. Beginning April 1st, 2015  a credit card will be required to book appointments either online, in person, or by phone. Any cancellations made without 24 hour notice or no shows will result in a  cancellation fee. If you have more than one service scheduled a cancellation fee will be charged for each service.  If after one no show another appointment is booked and the client does not show, a full charge for the appointment will be made on the credit card that was used to book that appointment.

 

Online Cancellations

You can login to you Vagaro account at anytime to cancel and reschedule before the 24 hour deadline. One day deals and other promotions booked online cannot be cancelled and rescheduled. If you must cancel after the 24 hour deadline you can call me at 316-390-7722. A  cancellation fee will be charged to the credit card on file.

Gift Certificate Last Minute Cancellations

Last minute cancellations will result in 50% of the value of the gift certificate being used. 

The 2nd last minute cancellations will result in 100% of the value of the gift certificate being used. 

 

Cancellation fees

Cancellation fees are as follows:

Without 24 hour notice:

50% of the price of the service scheduled. 

No shows will be charged full price of the service scheduled.

After 2 no shows online booking will no longer be allowed.

Deposits

As of October 29th, 2019 a 20% deposit will be required for online booking. 

Any Health Conditions/Concerns

I will require that you disclose any medical conditions, allergies, medication or injuries that may be affected by some of my services. I conduct a thorough consultation prior to specific treatments to uncover any contraindications that the treatment might have for you. Conditions such as high and low blood pressure and pregnancy can sometimes restrict your treatment options. If you are unsure, I recommend that you consult with me first.

Inclement Weather

If you do not feel comfortable driving in inclement weather please just call the spa and let us know. No charges will be applied. Your safety is our first concern.  If local schools are closed. the spa may close as well. We will be sure to let all of our patrons know with a phone call. 

Appointment Reminders by Email or Text Message

Please let me know if you need help remembering your appointment. Although my automatic reservation system does send out reminder emails 48 hours in advance, email and texts in general are not always reliable. Sometimes emails are late, go directly into your junk mail folder or don't show up at all. All these things are out of our control. I recommend that clients note the date/time of their services through other means because ultimately each person is responsible for keeping their appointment and cancellation within 24 hours if need be.

If you booked your appointment online, you will automatically receive an email reminder 48 hours in advance of your scheduled service(s). You will have the option to reschedule or cancel your appointment at that time.

 

Noise

Please maintain conversations at a considerate volume in all treatment areas.

 

Cell Phones

For the respect of all spa guest's tranquility, and for me the therapist doing treatment, cell phones are not permitted. Please turn all mobile devices off during your treatment. 

 

Child Minding

Due to the potentially hazardous chemical and expensive equipment in the spa, please make other arrangements for your children on appointment days. Main St. Massage & Spa will not be held accountable for injury or accidents to, or caused by, unsupervised children.

 

Gift Certificates & Online Vouchers

Gift Certificates and Online Vouchers are non-refundable and are not redeemable for cash. All gift certificates and online vouchers must be mentioned prior to making your appointment. Additionally, gift certificates and online vouchers must be presented at your appointment. Multiple gift certificates and online vouchers may not be combined towards a single service or product purchase. Gift Certificates can only be used on full priced services. Dollar amount gift certificates and online vouchers do not include taxes and gratuity.

 

Spa Promotions

Spa specials can not be used or combined with any other offer, discounts,  promtions or third party gift certificates and online vouchers.

 

Series of Treatments Return Policy

Unfortunetly I am unable to issue returns or reimbuse any payment transactions on my spa series of treatments or gift certificates that are purchased. I will exchange them for you for other spa services of equal value or spa credit of equal value.

Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Debit, Cash and Checks are accepted.
