Those who may benefit from massage therapy include but are not limited to athletes, those suffering with chronic pain, those in stressful working conditions, and the elderly. Depending on your ailments a good rule is an hour massage once a month to keep the body running efficiently. If you have problem areas such as frozen shoulder, sciatica or plantar fasciitis than you may need to commit to more than one treatment a month to see a reduction in pain or inflammation. You and your therapist can discuss your options at your consultation.
